Method & principles

A practice, not a pitch.

Nova is an AI automation practice for established UK businesses. We're headquartered in Norwich and work UK-wide — designing, deploying, and operating the systems we recommend, accountable for whether they work.

“We do not consult. We do not advise. We build, deploy, and operate.”

Specific workflows, not vague AI.

We don't sell 'AI strategy'. We identify the single most expensive manual process in your business, automate it end-to-end, and run it in production. The outcome is agreed before anything is built.

We run it. You don't touch it.

There is no handover, no training course, no platform to learn. Nova builds the automation, operates it, monitors it, and tunes it. You see the result — not the machinery.

Selective by design.

We hold a small book of engagements so each one gets operated properly. We review every application ourselves and only take work where the outcome is clear and measurable.

Your data stays yours.

Private models, access controls, and data isolation are the default — not an upsell. What's yours does not leave the business, and we don't train on your data.

The four phases

How an engagement runs.

01

Diagnostic

An operational audit to locate the single constraint worth removing first. We map the work as it actually happens, not as the org chart describes it.

Week 1–2
02

Architecture

System design before a line of code. Data flows, integration points, escalation paths, and failure modes are decided and signed off in advance.

Week 2–3
03

Deployment

We build, integrate, and train your staff — then hold 14 days of live monitoring in production while the system stabilises against real load.

Week 3–6
04

Operation

Ongoing optimisation with a quarterly review against the outcome we agreed. The system is operated, not handed over and forgotten.

Ongoing

Who we work with

  • Established businesses, roughly £500k–£10m in revenue
  • Anywhere in the UK — Norwich-based, we work nationwide
  • A real operational constraint, not a science project
  • A decision-maker who can act on what the diagnostic finds

Who we don't

  • Pre-revenue startups looking for a technical co-founder
  • Anyone wanting a slide deck and a recommendation
  • Projects with no measurable outcome attached
  • Work we can't operate and stand behind

If that sounds like your business, apply.
